Each logistics unit (container, parcel, etc.) will be equipped with a chip containing the entire list of information on the transported cargo. The chip is connected to sensors and will be able to automatically track and transmit location data, temperature and humidity data.
The relevant parties will be able to link the necessary documents with the virtual chip and make them available to other related parties in the process (contractors, customs officers, shippers, warehouse employees).
Documents will be stored either in a public locker (for example, in Ethereum), or in a permissive block (Fabric, Corda), depending on sensitivity or confidentiality. All information will be available online, which will allow the parties to act quickly if there are problems in the supply chain.

Eliminating the need to use tons of paper and e-mail, this ecosystem will provide greater efficiency, reducing delays in delivery, costs. Shipping parcels will become autonomous objects that can be monitored, automatically billed through smart contracts and calculated by crypto currency.
